It is designed for a secure friction fit to keep your hose snugly attached to the adapter while it is in the dust port.  The outside of the adapter has a ridge to keep the tool from going too far inside of the Dewalt 2 1/4 Inch Table Saw Dust Port. Item is printed in PLA+ (Professional) for lasting use! Comes in Black, Green, or Yellow.
